Healthy, beautiful hair is a must in everyone's life. It is a well-known fact that washing your hair everyday can strip your hair of natural oils which in turn causes drying. I personally have thin, "silky" hair so my hair tends to produce MORE than desired oils particularly near my roots and bangs. So, washing it every other day didnt seem to be an option for me...
Until i found the Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo.
After one wash i noticed my hair was more volumized and it had a shine to it, not a oily/greasy but a healthy shine. This was because there was less residue weighing my hair down. And since my hair isnt pressed to my scalp anymore, my hair no longer produced as much oil as it used to.
I was in awe, that a girl who couldnt even last half a day with her oily hair could be pleased to say that she can wash her hair every other day! woo hoo!
How i use the shampoo:
1) Wet my hair from root to tip
2) Distribute a dollar size amount of product. Focus on roots and under the hair.
3) MASSAGE
4) Keep in hair for about 5 mins.
5) Rinse all product off hair.
6) Condition with a hair mask.
CONS..
However, there is always a down side to every product. For this shampoo it is just the smell. It is a strong formula so it doesnt smell like your typical shampoo. It is very distinct so its hard to describe but it is tolerable so thats fine. And also, after shampooing your hair would have a "squeeky clean" texture to it so i would deeply condition my hair especially the ends just to retain the moisture.
