FALL TREND: Multi-Coloured French Manicure

Hey lovely :)

So, I've been dying for a simple, quick yet trendy nail looks to try this fall but i couldnt seem to find one i loved... till NOW!
These multi-coloured nail tips add personality and drama to the nails.
TIP: Use tape and create an outline of the tip of the nail. paint above the tape and when its dry peel it off. This will give you a defined and even line!

TRENDS: Fall 2011

Hello my friends,

Fall is almost here!! So check out these beautiful trends that are headed our way :)

This has been common trend this year; thick and bold eyebrows. Eyebrows define the face so its very important that you have brows that flatter your facial features.

Bright shadows are popular this fall especially greens and pinks/corals smokey eyes. Combined with a neutral or soft pink really compliments and completes the look.

Plum lips always seem to appear one way or another during fall and thats because its so different and interesting that everyone is dying to find the perfect shade for their skin colour!

 Thick, winged liner is in this season again! So have fun and play with your black, liquid liner.

Lastly, natural eyes and lips with polished skin is always pretty and totally in for this fall!

TRENDS: Matchy Makeup

I just watched one of my favourite youtube gurus Lisaeldridgedotcom's video tutorial on "matchy makeup". And i absolutely fell in love with her simple, yet beautiful look! She played up a rusty brown colour on her eyes, cheeks, lips and nails and the result was stunning!!

Wait... what is "matchy makeup" you ask?

Well its basically choosing a flattering colour for you and incorporating it in many aspects of your makeup. For example, you have brown eyes you my want to use purple tones to bring out your eyes. So you could use dark purple eye liner, highlight with a light lavender, contour lightly with a plum blush, and finish it off with a purple manicure +pedicure. Its that easy!
