Good morning,
Long, volumized, flirtatious lashes are what most ladies are dying for! And i know how much of a pain it is to see your lashes slowly droop down throughout the day. But heres a simple step to add to your makeup routine that'll work wonders for your lashes!!
-Take your eye lash curler and heat it up with your blow dryer. I would heat it for just about 10 seconds. Test it on your hand to make sure its not too hot (since your eye area is very thin, and delicate you wouldnt want to burn yourself!). Then just normally curl your lashes and apply mascara. This method would instantly give you a longer lasting natural curl.
In my opinion, i wouldnt do this everyday but only for special occasions or those days where you need a pick-me-up. Think about it, you wouldnt want to apply heat appliances to your hair everyday to avoid damage so you also wouldnt want to do that to your lashes!
Try it yourself :)
Until next time, xox,
Kristi

QUICK TIP: How to repair a broken shadow
Hello makeup lovers,
Dont you just hate it when your favourite shadow/powder shatters and then every time you open it it creates a big mess? Well i found quick and easy ways on how to fix just that!
OPTION 1
First, pour the loose contents of the powder into a ziploc bag. Crush until its a fine powder.
Add 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel. Mix well.
Place the mixture back into the compact pan. Then place a sheet of paper over the powder and with a anything with a hard surface (coin, book, bottle, etc) on top of it.
Gently but firmly apply pressure down to secure the powder into the compact
Let it air dry.
OPTION 2
Pour loose contents into ziploc bag and crush it.
Add 1-2 drops of rubbing alcohol into the empty pan.
Add about half of the powder into the pan. mix contents.
Add another drop of alcohol then add the remaining powder. Evenly distribute and smooth it across the pan.
The end result should be icing-like so add additional alcohol accordingly.
Wait about 45 minutes for all the alcohol to evaporate. Itll harden.
Then just take any hard object and press down on the shadow.
Its as easy as that! Let me know if you tried it yourself, or if you have other tips and tricks :)

QUICK TIP: Make your lashes grow longer, naturally.
Hi there!
Lashes, lashes, lashes. They open up the eyes, completes a look and they add a flirtateous glow to the eyes. Unfortunately, not all of us are born with Kim Kardashian lashes.. But do not loose hope! There are many ways to grow your lashes at home. It takes consistency and patience since lashes are the slowest growing hairs on your body but itll be worth it, trust me.
Vaseline(Petroleum Jelly) Method.1) Curl your lashes. This will help the lashes get used to growing upwards.
2) Use a clean mascara wand and coat it with vaseline.
3) Gently brush it along your lashes, ensuring to start at the roots!
It'll take about 4-5 weeks for a noticable change in length. Do this every night and wash it off in the morning (Vaseline is also a great makeup remover so if you don't wash it off then your makeup wont show up as well as it should).
High Vitamin C and E Diet Method.
These are well known nutrients that trigger lash growth. They also include many other benefits for your skin, and nails!
Eye Lash Serum Method.
I personally use the Physcians Formula 2in1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner and Serum and i LOVE it! Eyeliner is part of my everyday routine so i thought why not use one that also conditions+grows my lashes?! It worked wonders for my lashes, they feel softer and look fuller.
I have also heard of the LiLash purified lash serum. It is known to be the world's "best" serum that fortifies and conditions your lashes. I haven't tried it, but for more info visit http://www.lilash.com/pages/LiLash.html.

QUICK TIP: Nail care
Some say you can tell a lot about a person from the appearance of their nails. So, why not pamper them up once in a while with these simple tips!
● Like the rest of your body, your nails need enough minerals and nutrients for healthy growth. Great minerals for your nails include Silicon (most important!), Horsetail, Rosemary, Aloe Vera, Ginkgo, Zinc, vitamin E, C and D.
● One thing to remember is to pay attention to your overall health. If your insides are not healthy with it will take effect on your outside appearance (hair, skin and nails).
● There are some exceptions, where people just have naturally weak nails. In this case I advise strengthening serums, cuticle oils and letting your nails breathe 3 days a week.
● Drink lots of water. This will keep your hands, cuticles, and fingernails hydrated. Fingernails absorb water 100 times faster than skin, so they lose water extremely fast causing brittle and weak nails.
● Believe it or not but when you use a nail clipper, it creates a tiny breakage in your nails that make your fingernails more prone to chipping and even peeling. Instead, file (preferably with a glad flier because it’s less damaging) your nails down once a week for well maintained nails. However if you must cut them the best time would be while they are wet because it’ll soften the exterior and make it easier to cut with less force.
● Nail polish remover with acetone is much healthier for your nails because it doesn't dry it out.
● If you wear a lot of nail polish and your nails have turned yellow in colour, dip a cotton swab in hydrogen peroxide. This helps clean and whiten them.
● Put your fingertips in a lemon peel and twist your fingers back and forth to clean the cuticles and nails.
● For added shine to your nails, use coconut oil or warm castor oil and massage them thoroughly.
Until next time, xoxo,

QUICK TIP: How to make your lip gloss stay longer
Lip gloss: The key to highlight and volumize your lips. But how can you achieve this if your lip gloss starts to disappear throughout the day? Here are some tips to prolong the shine!

I hope this helped!
Enjoy the amazing spring weather xoxo,

- MOISTURISE! In my opinion this is the most important step. Healthy and soft lips will create a smooth canvas for your lip gloss. It will also prevent the gloss from attaching to the fine lines of your lips which will accentuate the dryness and make them appear unflattering. So, before you apply the lip gloss you should use a thin layer of lip balm as a base.
- LIP STICK, BLOT, REPEAT! Use a lip stick that goes well with your lip gloss. A touch of colour will go a looong way. First apply the lip stick evenly on your lips. Then use a piece of tissue paper and dab it on your lips, this removes excess lip stick and allow the leftover lipstick to settle in. This is optional, add a thin swipe of lip stick again for extra colour to the lips, then blot!
- POWDER! Believe it or not but if you apply some powder (lip powder or even your foundation powder) on your lips it will help absorb the gloss that you apply afterwards. This also prevents the lip gloss from melting or smudging throughout the day!
- GLOSS TIME! You are now ready to apply your favourite gloss! I suggest to only apply gloss to the middle sections of the lips (Around the cupids bow and also on the mid bottom lip). This creates the illusion of healthy, plump lips! It also doesn't make your lips look overwhelmed with shine, but instead adds shine to the areas that will attract the light the most.

I hope this helped!
Enjoy the amazing spring weather xoxo,
-Kristi
